Terms of Service
1. Services
DocPilot provides AI-driven document automation and structured data extraction services (the “Services”).
The Services process documents submitted by the Customer and return extracted structured data outputs.

2. Access & Use
2.1 The Customer is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Services for its internal business purposes.
2.2 The Customer shall not:

Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code;

Use outputs to train competing systems;

Resell or sublicense the Services without written consent;

Misuse or overload the system.

3. Fees & Payment
3.1 Fees are based on agreed subscription terms and/or document processing volume.
3.2 Invoices are payable in accordance with agreed payment terms.
3.3 Failure to pay may result in suspension of access.

4. Accuracy & Use of Output
4.1 The Services are designed to materially reduce manual document processing and are not guaranteed to be error-free.
4.2 The Customer acknowledges that AI-driven extraction may produce inaccuracies or omissions.
4.3 The Customer is responsible for reviewing and validating output before relying on it for operational, legal, or financial purposes.

5. Availability
DocPilot will use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain service availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

6. Data Protection
6.1 Each party is responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws.
6.2 DocPilot processes documents solely for the purpose of providing the Services.
6.3 Customer retains ownership of its documents and data.

7. Intellectual Property
7.1 DocPilot retains all intellectual property rights in the Services.
7.2 Customer retains ownership of its input data.

8. Confidentiality
Each party shall keep confidential non-public information disclosed by the other.
​
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 DocPilot’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid by the Customer in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9.2 DocPilot shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or loss of profit damages.
9.3 Nothing excludes liability for fraud or non-excludable statutory matters.

10. Term & Termination
10.1 The Services continue for the agreed subscription period.
10.2 Either party may terminate for material breach not remedied within 30 days.
10.3 Upon termination, access to the Services ceases.

11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
